V-Tech Touring for increased aerodynamic protection

The PUIG V-Tech Line Touring windshield combines an enlarged protective surface with the elegant and sporty lines of the YAMAHA X-MAX 300 TECH MAX + [2024]. At 635mm high, it is 110mm higher than the original lens and designed to reduce air pressure on the upper body, arms and helmet.

Developed airflow

The shape was developed using virtual wind tunnel technology. Their central and side areas guide the air flow in a controlled manner to the sides and reduce annoying turbulence. This improves aerodynamic protection compared to the original screen and can contribute to greater driving comfort and reduced fatigue on longer journeys.

High quality CN acrylic

PUIG manufactures the touring screen near the Barcelona-Catalunya race track from 4 mm thick CN acrylic. The lightweight material is resistant to shock and UV radiation and offers high transparency. The rounded, 4 mm thick edge increases safety and meets demanding homologation requirements such as those of the German TÜV.

Explanations and important compatibility information

The versions are available to choose from clear, tinted and heavily toned. The screen is not compatible with an original electronically adjustable windscreen; The reference 22544 is intended for this version.

Installation and documentation

The installation is simple and, according to the manufacturer, can be carried out in around 20 minutes without any special mechanical knowledge. The tightness of the screws should be checked regularly. There is also an ABE document for the product. Please check its scope for your specific vehicle.
