The RAD Kit comprehensively redesigns the front and tank area of the BMW R 1200 GS LC. This version is designed for models from 2013 to 2016 and includes the additional mounting parts required for these model years.

Design and Function

• Tank covers for a distinctive look and adapted ergonomics
• Lightweight ABS side panels in matte black with matte transparent sections
• Radiator deflectors to direct hot radiator air away from the rider's legs
• Redesigned front section with slimmer, tapered lines
• Stainless steel side elements to influence airflow at the airbox snorkel
• Airbox snorkel replacing the original airflow restrictors; according to the manufacturer, this increases mid-range performance

• Side protection elements made of sandblasted and electropolished stainless steel
• CNC-machined and anodized air intakes made from solid Ergal
• Laser-cut stainless steel mesh on the air intakes

Installation and Compatibility

The components are prepared with the required mounting points. The side panels, radiator deflectors, additional ABS element and center cover can be installed on the respective designated fairing components.

• Manufacturer's model-series specification: 2013 to 2019; this kit version specifically includes the additional parts for 2013 to 2016
