TECNIUM air filter for the KTM 250 EXC Factory Edition

The TECNIUM air filter is designed for the KTM 250 EXC Factory Edition from 2011. Its job is to retain dust, sand and dirt from the intake air and thereby protect sensitive engine components such as pistons, cylinders and valves from foreign bodies. The design is suitable for use where reliable filtering and good air permeability are required.

Multi-stage filtering made of foam

The air filter uses two differently structured foam layers. The open-pored outer layer holds back larger dirt particles. A second, denser layer filters finer dust particles and allows the air to continue to flow through. The filter combines the retention of different particle sizes with an air flow that is tailored to the engine intake.
