Complete RAD kit for the R 1200 GS LC from 2017 and R 1250 GS

The RAD kit redesigns the front, tank and side sections of the BMW GS with coordinated ABS, stainless steel and aluminium components. The new styling gives the front area a slimmer, more tapered appearance and adds functional components for airflow and the airbox.

Tank area and fairing

• Pair of lightweight ABS tank covers with finish, graphics and transparent protection
• Painted in original colours and supplied with pre-drilled holes
• Tank covers supplied with screws, rubber components and the required mounting hardware
• Pair of lightweight matt-black ABS side panels with opaque transparent finish
• Matt-black ABS centre cover
• Matt-black ABS “Tipp” element with logo beneath an opaque transparent finish and bracket

Front section and radiator deflectors

• Redesigned front section for a slimmer, more tapered appearance
• Side mounts for retaining the original R-1200-GS logos
• Two pre-cut decals as a replacement option for removed logos
• Pair of matt-black ABS radiator deflectors
• Prepared for mounting on the tank covers and frame
• Directs hot air from the radiator away from the rider’s legs

Airflow and metal details

• Airbox snorkels replacing the original airflow restrictors
• According to the manufacturer, higher performance in the mid-range
• Pair of sandblasted and electropolished stainless steel side protection elements
• The side protection elements support airflow around the airbox snorkel
• CNC-machined air intakes made from solid Ergal with an anodised finish
• Laser-cut stainless steel mesh and side Unit Garage logo

Compatibility and installation

This version is intended for the BMW R 1200 GS LC from model year 2017 and the BMW R 1250 GS. The kit is not intended for the Adventure versions. The components are prepared for quick installation and supplied with the specified mounting hardware.
