Comprehensive care for canvas, leather and split leather

This maintenance kit has been assembled for the regular cleaning, care and refreshing of accessories, bags and jackets made from canvas, smooth leather or split leather. The included products cover different applications and should be used according to the individual care instructions, depending on the material.

Waterproofing and wax care

• Waterproofing spray: For leather, canvas and split leather. If necessary, the item can first be cleaned with warm, clear water. The spray can be used on damp or dry material. After shaking, apply it evenly from a distance of 10 to 15 cm and allow it to dry for 12 hours for optimal results.
• Solid wax: For resealing regularly used accessories, bags or jackets. Treatment is recommended at least once a year with regular use.

Cleaning and color restoration

• Color cream in black or brown: For covering scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. Do not use on split leather. The package contains 50 ml.
• Soft brush: With wooden handle for even, scratch-free brushing.
• Brass-bristle brush: With wooden handle for cleaning and caring for split leather.
• Cleaning disc: For removing glue and sticky residue from leather or split leather. It measures 100 x 60 mm and is 8 mm thick.
• Microfiber cloth: For material-friendly care and finishing.

Applying the solid wax

• Remove dirt and sand and clean the material with a sponge and cold water.
• Do not use soap or detergents. Do not machine wash, dry clean, iron or tumble dry.
• Warm the item to be treated in a warm room, in the sun or near a heat source.
• Apply the wax sparingly with a soft cloth or sponge, rub it in carefully and pay particular attention to seams and creases.
• For an even finish, carefully heat the wax with a hair dryer and then hang the treated item in a warm place overnight.

Safety instructions for the waterproofing spray

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin, and use only in a well-ventilated area.
