Comprehensive care kit for canvas, leather and split leather

This Unit Garage care kit combines various products for cleaning, caring for and retreating accessories, bags and jackets made of canvas, smooth leather or split leather. The appropriate product should be selected based on the respective material and its corresponding instructions for use.

Waterproofing spray

The spray is intended for the regular treatment of accessories, bags and jackets made of leather, canvas or split leather.

• Clean the item with warm, clear water if necessary.
• The spray can be used on damp or dry material.
• Shake the bottle and spray evenly from a distance of 10–15 cm.
• Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to improve distribution and reduce waste.
• Allow to dry for 12 hours for optimum results.

Safety instructions: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and prolonged contact with skin. Use only in a well-ventilated area.

Solid wax block

For regularly used accessories, bags or jackets, resealing is recommended at least once a year.

• Remove dirt and sand, and clean the material with a sponge and cold water.
• Do not use soap or detergents.
• Do not machine wash, dry-clean, iron or tumble dry.
• Work in a warm room or outdoors in the sun.
• Place the item to be treated in the sun or near a heat source.
• Apply the wax sparingly with a soft cloth or sponge, paying particular attention to seams and creases.
• Rub in the wax thoroughly and do not apply excess wax.
• For an even finish, dry with a hair dryer after waxing.
• Hang the treated item in a warm place overnight.

Color cream for smooth leather

The included black or brown color cream is used to cover scratches and scuffs on smooth leather. It must not be used on split leather.

• Clean the area to be treated.
• Massage the cream into the leather with a sponge.
• Allow to dry for 15 minutes.
• Then polish with a soft cloth.
• Contents: 50 ml

Brushes and cleaning accessories

• Soft brush: Brush with a wooden handle for even, scratch-free brushing.
• Brass brush: Polishing and cleaning brush with brass bristles and a wooden handle for caring for split leather.
• Cleaning disc: For removing glue and sticky residue from leather or split leather. Rub it over the area with light pressure, then clean with a soft cloth. Dimensions: 100 × 60 mm, thickness: 8 mm.
• Microfiber cloth: Included in the kit for care and cleaning.
