PUIG Z-Racing disc for the YAMAHA YZF-R1M

Sporty lines, targeted aerodynamic relief and precise workmanship: The PUIG Z-Racing screen was developed for the 2025 YAMAHA YZF-R1M. Its double height directs the wind over the helmet and upper body, while side channels direct the air flow outwards, reducing pressure in the shoulder area.

Dimensions and construction

• Dimensions: 335 × 295 mm (height × width)
• 30 mm higher than the original disc
• Material thickness: 3 mm
• Made from impact-resistant acrylic
• Rounded edge with 2mm radius
• Fastening with the original screws

The disc, developed and manufactured in Barcelona, combines a light, durable construction with the aggressive design language of the Z-Racing line. An image-based control system is used during quality testing to monitor the shape and processing quality.

Tested aerodynamics

PUIG tests the Z-Racing screen in the virtual wind tunnel. Compared to the original lens, the average improvement in aerodynamic protection when the upper body is in an upright position is 12.7 percent. In racing position the reported improvement is 61 percent.

Versions for an individual look

The lens is available in blue, carbon look, heavily tinted, tinted, black and clear. This means the look can be tailored specifically to the motorcycle without changing the characteristic Z-Racing shape.
