BASIC tank ring for Honda CBR 900 RR

This model-specific tank ring is designed for the Honda CBR 900 RR from model years 1998 and 1999. A suitable Hepco&Becker BASIC tank bag is placed on it and locked mechanically.

Complete set for the BASIC system

In addition to the black tank ring, the corresponding retaining plate for the tank bag is included. Its position on the tank bag depends on the tank shape and steering lock. The fuel cap remains usable despite the fitted ring.

Locking and release

• Audible engagement when fitted
• Released with the strap at the front in the direction of travel
• Recommended maximum speed with tank bag fitted: 130 km/h
• Recommended tank-bag load: approx. 3 kg

The BASIC ring and retaining plate form a single system and are not compatible with Lock-it retaining plates. When installed as intended, no ABE or registration is required. The motorcycle manufacturer's information and model-specific instructions must be observed.
